Refund & Returns Policy

Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, in its original packaging.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Security equipment that has been installed, activated, or connected to a monitoring plan
- Custom-configured security panels with personalized settings
- Gift cards and promotional credits
- Downloadable software or firmware licenses
- Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts (not due to our error)
Partial Refund Situations
Partial refunds may be granted for:
- Equipment with obvious signs of use or testing
- Opened sensor packages or camera kits
- Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send items back to the manufacturer.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email confirming receipt. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company — it may take time before the refund is posted
- Contact your bank — there is often processing time before a refund appears
- If you’ve done all of this, call us at 855-SECUTER
Sale Items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale or promotional items cannot be refunded.
Monitoring Service Cancellation
SECUTER monitoring plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts. You can cancel your monitoring service at any time without penalties or cancellation fees.
Exchanges
We only replace items that are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item, call us at 855-SECUTER and ship your item to:

Shipping Returns

You will be responsible for your own return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted.
For items over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
